This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 (VIN WP0AA2990XS621879) has a claimed 70,200 miles and is finished in a not seen often Arena Red over Savannah Beige leather interior. So lets get this right out of the way, these “polished turbo look” twists look awful. I know these were stock on the “millennium edition” 996, and they looked terrible on that car too. This car is finished in sorta rare Arena Red and does have the Aero kit in addition to Litronic (xenon) lights. That being said, at some point, the stock 996.1 Aero “taco” wing was swapped for this 996.2 Aero GT3 look wing. I’ll say this, it does make the car appear to newer, we like it.
The interior is finished in Savannah leather and is sporting the optional 3 spoke steering wheel. Factory LSD does not appear to be present, but an aftermarket NAV unit has been installed.
The 996.1 came stock with a 3.4 liter flat-six pumping out 296 hp. The 1999 Carrera 2 came from the factory with a cable connected throttle as opposed to the electronic throttle “e-gas” that came in 2000+ models.
